Crete Mechanical Group Partners With Piper Electric, Inc. to Expand Presence in the Denver Metro Area

TAMPA, FL, April 1, 2022 – Crete Mechanical Group (CMG) has acquired a majority stake in full-service electrical contractor, Piper Electric, Inc. Founded in 1983, Piper Electric offers electrical design-build, installation, retrofit and 24/7 maintenance service to commercial, industrial, oil and gas, and residential customers. Piper was an early innovator in supporting skill development for their electrical contractors with the launch of a dedicated Career Development Center in 1993—a program that also serves to ensure the best in advanced techniques are consistently delivered to Piper clients. “We’re excited to welcome Piper Electric to the Crete Mechanical Group and are proud to add their broad commercial and industrial electrical services and deep industry expertise to our partner network,” said Mike Cox, Chief Executive Officer of CMG.
